Meera Chopra, also known as Nila, is an Indian film actress, who appears in Tamil and Telugu films. Nila's first film was Anbe Aaruyire produced and directed by S. J. Suryah, in which she played the lead role. The movie was a big hit and she got an instant recognition in Tamil cinema. Later, she went on to do some Telugu movies. Her last Telugu movie Vaana, was produced by an ace producer M. S. Raju, where her acting was highly appreciated. She had a short break from cinema and she ventured into the fashion business. Maaro (film) remains her most recent and last release.
